This campaign reached its funding goal last Thursday and I've been in a long-weekend hibernation ever since. Now that I've finally emerged from my cave, let me take moment to thank each and every one of you for supporting HAUNTING Vol. 1!
We're very happy with the performance of this campaign, and are looking forward to sending out your rewards ASAP!
Speaking of which, here's our planned timeline of events:
Mid-October: the Indie Comic Book Bundle will be sent out
Late-October/Early-November: BackerKit Surveys and Digital Rewards sent
The order for physical copies of HAUNTING Vol. 1 is already in with our printer. We'll keep you all updated as soon as we get an estimate for when the books will arrive. Pesky international printing/shipping makes it difficult to estimate at this time, but rest assured that we plan to deliver as quickly as humanly possible!
We have a couple of "Errored Pledges" where payment method has failed. As always, Kickstarter gives you until one week from the Project End Date (in this case, this Thursday at 10:00PM EST) before it drops any remaining errored pledges from the backer list.

As of this writing, we've unlocked THREE STRETCH GOALS and ONE BACKER GOAL!
Most recently, we unlocked our Third Stretch Goal. All Physical Backers (backers having rewards shipped to them) will receive one (1) free Collectible Trading Card from our brand new HAUNTING Set! If you're lucky, you might even pull a RARE HOLO FOIL CARD (Ratio 1:6).
And we also unlocked our First Backer Milestone Goal, which added Super Best Friend #1 to the Indie Comic Bundle! This brings the total number of books in the bundle to a whopping twelve (12) comics!
Previously, we unlocked our half of The Dancer/HAUNTING Connected Art Print by Sebastián Píriz. All Physical Backers will get the HAUNTING Half of the print which features Faith fighting off a group of ninjas! Be sure to support The Dancer #1-3 to get the second half of the print (more info on that in our previous Update).
And the Expansion Pass to the Indie Bundle which had added five (5) more digital indie comics to the bundle!
We've already unlocked four goals, so let's look at what comes next!
If we hit 250 Backers before the end of the campaign, we'll add Little Deaths #1 to the Indie Bundle! As of this writing, we're only 5 backers away from unlocking this goal!
And if we hit $10,000 funding, all backers will receive a copy of the HAUNTING Vol. 1 script! That's over 100 pages of behind-the-scenes content!

Created by my friend and the letterer of my other comic series, Slice of Life, Witch Creek Road is one of my absolute favorite horror comics out there. Set in the world of Witch Creek Road, this follow-up is about an urban legend named Skinned Tom, a man who was skinned alive years ago by the jealous husband of one of Tom's many sexual "conquests". Skinned Tom now haunts make out points, inflicting the same fate on those he finds. And sometimes, like Tom, these victims don't stay dead... But beyond that, the story of Skinned is about two sisters who survive an encounter with one of Skinned Tom's victims, and the effect this has on each of them.
If you're a fan of Witch Creek Road on Webtoon, this "Director's Cut" will collect Season Two of the series -- but features some key differences (including a different ending)! Read more about that on the Kickstarter page!

From a friend and letterer/graphic designer on several of my previous projects comes A Steampunk Carol! This 86+ page steampunk-infused graphic novel celebrates The Nutcracker and Mouse King in a special retelling of the classic tale. This version recounts little Caitlin Ward's bizarre encounter with the tin soldiers and the terrible seven-headed Mouse King, which guides her to some important discoveries about her mother and her fate.
